That's good you left out the creme fraiche, because the trouble with having a tub of that stuff in the house is that it has to all be used and it is high in calories. An alternative is just dribbling a tsp as a topping, but then again, you got the rest of it to contend with. If you don't have a Foley mill for sieving you can substitute a wire-mesh strainer over a bowl, pushing the solids through via a wooden spoon.
